The new COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak began in China. They get the name "corona" from the many crown-like spikes on the surface of the virus. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide and presents an unprecedented challenge to public health, food systems and the world of work. Covid 19 is most likely spread through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, talks, or breathes near you, as well as through close contact such as touching and shaking hands with an infected person. The most common symptoms of this viral infection are fever, cold, cough, bone pain, and breathing difficulties, which can progress to pneumonia. These symptoms can appear anywhere between two and 14 days after being exposed to the virus. Children experience symptoms that are similar to, but usually milder than, those experienced by adults. People with severe underlying medical conditions, such as heart or lung disease or diabetes, are at a higher risk of serious Covid 19 complications. It has affected day to day life and is slowing down the global economy. This pandemic has affected thousands of peoples, who are either sick or are being killed due to the spread of this disease. We need to have enough knowledge on this topic so that we know what is going on in our country or surroundings. Right now, the best defense to prevent getting Covid 19, such as (1) washing your hands for at least 20 seconds (especially before eating and preparing food, after using the bathroom, after wiping your nose, and after coming in contact with someone who has cold), (2) avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth to prevent the spread of viruses from your hands. (3) Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when sneezing and coughing. (4) Avoid close contact (within six feet) with those who have coughs, colds or are sick. (5) Clean frequently used surfaces with a virus-killing disinfectant. and (6) Greet people with a friendly gesture instead of shaking hands.
